Octopus Energy runs a separate referral scheme for business customers. When you refer a business that successfully switches its energy supply to Octopus, both you and the business receive £75 credit on your energy accounts — a total of £150 split between the two parties.
The business referral is handled entirely separately from the residential referral scheme. To refer a business, you need to use the dedicated referral tool on Octopus’s website rather than a personal residential referral link.
Visit octopus.energy/refer-a-business/ and log in to your Octopus account (or create one if you’re not already a customer).
Octopus will give you a unique referral link specifically for business switching. This is different to your residential referral code.
The business must be a new Octopus Energy for Business customer — they must not previously have been on supply with Octopus. Send them your link and ask them to use it when signing up.
Once the business has fully switched and their first payment has been taken, £75 credit is applied to both energy accounts automatically.
